Lynette Taylor

Ms. Taylor received her Bachelors Degree in Music Therapy from Utah State University in 1998. She completed her clinical internship in music therapy at the University of Utah Neuropsychiatric Institute, specializing in the treatment of adults, adolescents and children with varied mental illness. In January of 1999 she received her Board Certification in clinical music therapy from the Certification Board for Music Therapists (Accredited by the NCCA).
Ms. Taylor has worked at the Center for Change in Orem, Utah since February, 1998, where she has specialized in the treatment of women with eating disorders, and has created & implemented the current music therapy program. With the assistance of her accomplishments in violin, guitar, piano, vocals, and her clinical experience, Ms. Taylor has developed music therapy interventions to enhance verbal and non-verbal expression of feelings, creativity, problem-solving skills, relaxation, anger management, social interaction, and introspection. Lynette has an interest in furthering her education in ethnic music and practices. Ms. Taylor resides in Herriman, Utah with her
husband and two children.
