Debbie Olson-Morrison received a bachelor degree in music at University of Evansville, in Evansville, Indiana, and earned her degree in music therapy after completing a 6 month clinical internship at University of Utah Neuropsyhchiatric Institute, under Ada Mae Crouse. Shortly after she became Board-Certified. Recently, Debbie completed a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Utah, and became liscensed as a Certified Social Worker.
While working at UUNI, Debbie received experience working in the adult psychitric population. Later she worked at Infinia Hospital at a phychiatric day treatment program, mainly with older adults. She has also worked individually with children with Autism and ran a series of music therapy groups for "Mothers and Babies At Risk" at the Guadalupe School. Currently, Debbie is working as a music therapist part time at Primary Children's Residential Treatment Center, with latency-aged children with various phychiatric and behavior issues. < Return to Therapists List |
